About this role
The main focus of this role is to support projects requiring waste and resource management expertise, including strategic advisory work, policy advisory work, feasibility studies, waste management planning, research, high level design advice, waste components of EIS.

What will I do?

  • Provide policy and regulatory advice for state and federal government authorities.
  • Provide waste management planning service, both at a building level as well as at precinct/masterplan/strategic levels.
  • Produce feasibility studies and technical review of proposed waste management infrastructure.
  • Manage Due Diligence studies of proposed waste management infrastructure including technical and commercial elements.
  • Design review and input with respect to waste management and related services (transport planning, logistics).
  • Research emerging waste technology and waste management practices on the international stage.


What will I bring?

  • Bachelor of Science (Civil engineering, environmental engineering or similar) degree.
  • Experience in waste and resource management infrastructure.
  • Understanding of waste and resources in the context of other infrastructure projects as well as in a government policy and strategy context.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Numerical skills and ability to manipulate data and construct moderately complex models in MS Excel.
